An authentic paradise: from its sea-beds covered
by thick lawns of posidonia, to its emerald green and turquoise
surfaces, the sea at Villasimius is one of the most beautiful
in the world.
However, Villasimius is not only about its sea: as well as the
miles of enchanting coastlines, it has an environmental heritage
still completely intact, with mountains, like Monte Maria, along
the Minni Minni chain, which extend to the sea in the Capo Boi
district on one side and to Procceddus from the other. It is possible
to reach these destinations on guided tours, in off-road vehicles,
on mountain bike, horseback or on foot. For sporting enthusiasts,
there is an embarrassment of choice: in the hotels, villages,
self-catering complexes and other reputable establishments, it
is possible to go sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, canoeing,
diving, mountain biking, trekking, play tennis and 5-a-side football
and take part in various types of excursions, both in the sea
and on land.
- Sailing and windsurfing. 
For the keen watersports enthusiast, Villasimius is the ideal
place for sailing and windsurfing. Here the “right”
wind blows.
From spring onwards, it is possible to practise these sports at
certified schools in the area, which organise courses for different
levels and also have facilities for childrens’ courses.
- Waterskiing and canoeing .
Il luogo è adatto anche agli sport più movimentati
quali lo sci nautico, ma è possibile ricaricarsi, tonificarsi
e divertirsi con sfide appassionanti come la canoa.
- Diving.
C'è l'imbarazzo della scelta, si possono effettuare immersioni
su bellissime praterie di posidonia, alla scoperta dei relitti
adagiati sui fondali, secche con incantevoli insenature, visite
alle tane di saraghi e cernie oltre alla visita all'area marina
protetta di Capo Carbonara di Villasimius che unisce il fascino
della flora e della fauna marina a quello degli antichi relitti.
Il consiglio è di praticare questo sport con scuole qualificate,
quindi rivolgetevi ai Diving locali, che organizzano corsi di
differenti livelli e dispone delle basi operative per i corsi
dedicati ai bambini.
Naturalmente nei Diving Center avrete la possibilità di
rivolgervi a istruttori altamente qualificati ed autorizzati al
rilascio, dopo corsi che qui si organizzano, dei brevetti da sub
riconosciuti in tutto il mondo.
- Mountain biking.

great naturalistic interest, such as the Minni Minni Forest, the
animal haven of Castiadas, “S’Acqua Callenti”,
or else along the coasts.
- Trekking and excursions.
Villasimius, as far as the Seven Brothers Park Forest, is an immense
natural oasis. As such, the tourists have the perfect opportunity
to immerse themselves fully in nature, along miles of walking
paths, on horseback, by bike and on guided tours in off-road vehicles.
Among the most beautiful stop-offs points are the summits of Minni
Minni. From here one can enjoy a spectacular and unique view of
the entire area, including the carefully conserved Notteri pool
and various archaeological sites. In the ancient Seven Brothers
forests, it is possible to encounter Sardinian deer and other
protected animal species.
